The VC Eltmann is a volleyball club from Eltmann in Lower Franconia , who from the 2010 SG Eltmann emerged. The first men's team played from 2014 to 2018 as Oshino Volleys Eltmann in the second Bundesliga South . Under the new name Heitec Volleys Eltmann , the Franconians became second division champions and then played in the first division for one season .

Venue
The home games of the Bundesliga were initially played in the Brose Arena in Bamberg , since December 21, 2019 the venue has been the Georg-Schäfer-Sporthalle in Eltmann again.
Bankruptcy of the sponsoring company
Heitec Volleys GmbH filed for bankruptcy on December 27, 2019. Excessive costs for home games in the Brose Arena in connection with insufficient income from entrance fees are cited as the cause .
