Roosewelt de o Vasconcelos Filho (born October 12, 1984 ) is a Brazilian volleyball player .

Career

Roosewelt Filho started his career in 2002 at Clube Meritus. In the following years he also played for Bauru Atlético Clube, Atibaia and Maringá in Brazil . In the 2009/10 season, the middle blocker played abroad for the first time and became cup finalist and runner-up with the Bulgarian club Neftochimik Burgas . He then moved to Switzerland and won the Swiss championship with Volley Näfels in 2011. A year later he won the national cup with the league competitor Volley Amriswil . In 2013 he returned home and played one season each with Cimed Florianópolis and Voleisul. Then he was active in Argentina, first a season with Pilar Vóley and then with Obras Udap Vóley. In 2016/17 he played again in Näfels and became Swiss Cup finalist and runner-up. The following season he won the cup and championship double with the Slovak club VK Prievidza . In 2018 he moved to the Greek club Foinikas Syros . With Syros he reached the cup final and third place in the league. In 2019 Roosewelt Filho moved to the German Bundesliga promoted Heitec Volleys Eltmann .
