Michael Morgan (real name: Michael Lamboley) (born March 10, 1968 in Merzig ) is a German pop singer .

Life

Michael Morgan grew up in Merzig and did an apprenticeship as a baker after school . In 1986 he was able to record his first single, Take My Heart , with which he already landed a respectable success. He had his first major success in 1991 when he re-released the hit song First came the sun . This song was already a hit in 1971 by his namesake Manfred Morgan . In 1993 Michael made his breakthrough with his title Come on again . He reached number 1 on the ZDF hit parade . Further appearances on several television shows followed. Two years later he had another hit with Komm zurück zu mir , the German version of the Take That classic Back for Good .

In 1998 Michael Morgan took part in the German Schlager Festival , but only achieved 11th place with the title Admittedly .

Morgan made several tours. In 1996 he got to know and love his singing colleague Rosanna Rocci better. The result was the marriage of the two on July 17, 1997 (the church marriage then took place in 1998 in Speyer Cathedral). The separation followed in 2012. The couple has a son. The singer has a daughter from a previous relationship. In addition to solo appearances and solo recordings, Michael Morgan has also appeared as a duo with his wife Rosanna since 1999, which has been heard and seen at numerous television and radio events.

Michael Morgan has been under contract with GLORIELLA MUSIC, Jack White's new label, since 2008 and achieved 1st place at the MDR hit summer night in 2008 with the title “The woman in my dreams”.
