Rosanna Rocci (born October 28, 1968 in Solothurn ) is an Italian pop singer .

life and career

Rosanna Rocci first grew up in Switzerland . At the age of four, she and her family moved to Italy in Abruzzo . There she continued her childhood with two sisters. She learned to play organetto at an early age, which in Italy was actually reserved for men.

On the occasion of an event in Germany , Rocci played the composer Hanne Haller and the lyricist Bernd Augener , who brought them to Germany. So she came to Kempten . Initially, hits were produced with her in English and Italian . In the early 1990s Rocci went on tour with Tony Christie and Umberto Tozzi and became internationally known. She was a guest in numerous hit parades and television events. From 1992 she also made German recordings.

In addition to solo appearances and solo recordings, Rocci has also performed as a duo with her husband, fellow pop singer Michael Morgan, since 1999 . Her first hit was I belong to you , with which she won the "Golden Muse" at the 1999 German Schlager Festival .

Rocci has been married to Morgan since 1997 and has a son with him. At the end of June 2012, she announced the official separation.
