Michael Neugebauer

Michael Neugebauer (born April 7, 1962 in Rosenheim ) is a former German decathlete .

He was German youth champion in 1980 and German junior champion in the decathlon in 1982. In 1982, Neugebauer also started in the German championships over 110 meter hurdles in the adult division and reached sixth place. In 1985 he won the bronze medal in the decathlon at the Universiade . In 1986 he became German runner-up and the following year he won the German championship with 8060 points. At the World Championships in Rome in 1987 he came in 14th.

Neugebauer started for LG Ortenau-Nord, MTG 1899 Mannheim and MTV 1881 Ingolstadt . In 1986 he married the hurdler Heike Filsinger .
