Michael Niedermeier (Artistic Cyclist)

Michael Lower Meier (* 27. December 1990 ) is a former German 1 Series artistic cycling and two-time world champion in the one-two-Art Cycling (2014 and 2015).

Career

He practiced his sport in the association RKB Solidarity Bruckmühl eV and was trained there by his parents. In 2007 Michael Niedermeier became European Junior Champion. In the elite class he was a member of the national team since 2009. In 2013 he became vice world champion in Basel.

In 2014 he was able to achieve both the title of German champion and the world champion title.
In November 2015 he was able to successfully defend his world title in Malaysia.

At the indoor cycling world championships in Stuttgart in 2016 , he became vice world champion in one-two-way cycling. In March 2017, the 26-year-old declared his active time over.
