David Schnabel (born November 24, 1984 in Alzenau , Aschaffenburg district , Bavaria ) is a former German art cyclist . From 2003 to 2014 he rode in the elite class of artificial cycling, where he won eight world championship titles in the single artificial bike . He ended his career in 2014.

Career

With the seventh World Championship title at the indoor cycling world championship in 2012 in Aschaffenburg, Schnabel became the most successful artistic cyclist in indoor cycling history and holds the current world record in the single artificial bike. He has now won eight world titles for the German team.

In addition, Schnabel won the international German Master Series three times and the national championships six times in the highest competition category.

In 1993 Schnabel joined the "RV Germania Niedernberg " ( Miltenberg district , Bavaria ). Schnabel has been training and driving for RV Adler Soden (Miltenberg district, Bavaria) since summer 2007 .

In May 2012 he was awarded the Silver Laurel Leaf in Berlin.
