Michael Orozco Fiscal (born February 7, 1986 in Orange , California ) is an American football player who is also a Mexican citizen.

Career

Orozco Fiscal joined the youth department of the Mexican professional club Club San Luis in 2005 . He previously played for the Irvine Strikers, a youth team from Irvine, California . He made his debut during the Apentura 2006 in the Primera División . By August 2008, he completed 55 league games. In January 2010, San Luis loaned Orozco to the Philadelphia Union MLS franchise. After a season he returned to Mexico.

For the US Olympic selection, Orozco played the qualifying tournament for the Olympic soccer tournament in China in March 2008 . His achievements were so extraordinary that he was chosen by the Technical Study Group as one of three defenders in the All-Tournament Team . In July 2008 he was appointed to the 18-man squad for the Olympic Games by coach Piotr Nowak .

He made his international debut for the United States national soccer team on October 15, 2008 against Trinidad and Tobago. After almost three years, he was nominated again for a friendly against Mexico and completed his second international match on August 10, 2011. On August 15, 2012, Orozco played with the US national team again in a friendly against Mexico and scored the 1-0 winner.
