Michael R. Pinter
Michael R. Pinter (born June 29, 1969 in Graz ) is a Dutch artist and cultural manager.
Career
After self-study, Pinter attended the painting master's school in Graz from 1989 to 1990, taught by Gerhard Lojen . He has been a freelance artist since 1991. Pinter lives and works in Graz, Zeist and Berlin.
Since 1996 the focus of his work has been on multimedia and computer art . Together with Renate Oblak he created video art under the name reMI , which was shown at the International Film Festival Rotterdam , the International Short Film Festival Hamburg , the Uppsala International Short Film Festival and Videoex . Another subject of the artist are sound sculptures made of steel, e.g. B. the work SUB / DC in the Austrian Sculpture Park in Graz.
