Michael Radzey

Michael Radzey (born August 31, 1960 in Reutlingen ) is a former German athlete who specialized in the 110-meter hurdles .

Life

From 1975 he belonged to the SSC Koblenz-Karthauser and moved to MTG Mannheim in 1982 .

Radzey was third in the 1983 German Championships and sixth in the European Cup in London. In 1985 he was German champion and seventh at the European Cup in Moscow. The following year he finished third at the German Championships and took part in the European Championships in Stuttgart.

In 1987 Radzey became German runner-up and qualified for the World Championships in Rome, where he was eliminated in the preliminary stages. At the European Cup in Prague he came seventh. At the European Indoor Championships in Budapest in 1988 , he reached the semi-finals over the 60 meter hurdles.

Radzey also won the German University Championships in 1983, 1985, 1986 and 1987 and took part in the Universiades in 1983 and 1985.
