Frederick Joseph Colli (born June 17, 1949 in Saint Catharines ) is a Canadian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Thunder Bay .

Life

Frederick Joseph Colli was ordained a priest on June 21, 1975 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Ottawa and titular bishop of Afufenia on December 19, 1994 . The Archbishop of Ottawa, Marcel André J. Gervais , donated him episcopal ordination on February 22 of the next year ; Co-consecrators were Thomas Benjamin Fulton , Former Bishop of Saint Catharines , and Paul Marchand SMM , Auxiliary Bishop of Ottawa. As a motto he chose Sanctum Nomen Eius .

He was named Bishop of Thunder Bay on February 2, 1999, and was installed in office on March 25 of the same year.
