Thomas Benjamin Fulton
Thomas Benjamin Fulton (born January 13, 1918 in St. Catharines , Ontario , † November 11, 2002 ) was a Canadian Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Saint Catharines .
Life
Thomas Benjamin Fulton was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Toronto on June 7, 1941 . On December 28, 1968, Pope Paul VI appointed him titular bishop of Cursola and appointed him auxiliary bishop in Toronto. The Pope himself donated his episcopal ordination on January 6, 1969 in Rome; Co- consecrators were Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli , Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , and Archbishop Ernesto Civardi , Secretary of the Congregation for Bishops . On July 7, 1978 Paul VI called. made him second Bishop of Saint Catharines, the inauguration took place on August 29, 1978.
On February 2, 1994, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
