Michael Rasch

Michael Rasch (born October 23, 1970 in Kassel ) is a German - Swiss business journalist and book author .

Live and act

After studying economics and doing an internship at the Georg von Holtzbrinck School of the Handelsblatt publishing group , he has been working for the Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ) since 2002 . In Zurich , he worked as an editor in the business editorial department from 2002 to 2006, where he headed the finance team from mid-2006 to 2016. Since April 2016 he has been the business correspondent for the NZZ in Frankfurt am Main . He also runs the podcast "Rasch-Hour" privately .

In 2012, Rasch and his NZZ colleague Michael Ferber published the bestseller in the economy, The Secret Expropriation , a completely revised edition that appeared in 2016 under the title The (un) secret expropriation . In the meantime, in 2014 he published the stock market advisor The Secret Art of Stock Market Analysis .

In 2009, 2014 and 2016 (Finanzteam NZZ), Rasch won the Swiss Media Prize for Financial Journalists and in 2011 the German Financial Journalist Prize. In 2015 he and Michael Ferber received the “Liberal Award” from the Young Freisans of the Canton of Zurich .
