Michael Stocklasa (born December 2, 1980 in Triesen ) is a former Liechtenstein soccer player . The 189 cm tall Stocklasa played in the position of a central defender.

societies

Michael Stocklasa played for USV Eschen-Mauren in his youth before being signed by the Liechtenstein capital club FC Vaduz in 1998 . In 2000 he moved to Switzerland for FC Winterthur . A year later, Michael then moved to the Swiss first division club FC Baden before returning to FC Vaduz in 2002. In 2006 he then moved back to his home club USV Eschen-Mauren. He ended his career in the summer of 2012.

National team

Michael Stocklasa played for the Liechtenstein national team from 1998 (debut: Austria - Liechtenstein, 6-0) to 2012 and has now scored 2 goals in 71 games.

Private

His brother Martin Stocklasa is also a Liechtenstein national player and ended his career in 2014. He was most recently under contract with FC St. Gallen . At the moment Michael is finishing his high school diploma on the side.
