Michael Teiser

Michael Teiser (born June 7, 1951 in Bremerhaven ) is a German CDU politician .

biography

education and profession

After obtaining his secondary school leaving certificate, Teiser first completed vocational training as a foreign trade clerk , then training as a senior administrative service. The married man from Bremerhaven is a graduate in administration . From 1970 to 1978 he was a contract soldier. He then joined the Bremerhaven city administration as a civil servant. Teiser has been treasurer and mayor of Bremerhaven since 2003 .

politics

Teiser has been a member of the CDU since 1975. He is the district chairman of the CDU Bremerhaven and for many years was deputy state chairman of the CDU Bremen. Teiser is a member of the CDU state executive committee in Bremen.

He was a member of Bremen's citizenship from 1983 to 1994 and from 1999 to 2003 . In 2015 Teiser was re-elected to the citizenship, but renounced his mandate.

He moved into the German Bundestag via the state list of the CDU Bremen and was a member of the German Bundestag from 1994 to 1998. There he was a full member of the Home Affairs Committee and a deputy member of the Petitions Committee , the Economic Committee and the Health Committee.
