Michael Wawrok (born April 25, 1965 in Cottbus ) is a former German soccer player in the storm . He played for BSG Energie Cottbus in the GDR league .

Career

Wawrok played in his youth from 1972 to 1977 for BSG Energie Cottbus, 1977 for BFC Dynamo and then again until 1983 for BSG Energie. In 1983 Wawrok went to BSG Lokomotive Cottbus , until he moved again to BSG Energie Cottbus in 1985, which played in the second-rate GDR league. He made his first appearance on August 18, 1985 in a 2-0 win against BSG Stahl Eisenhüttenstadt . In total, he came in the 1985/86 season to 33 league games, where he was substituted eleven times and five times. With eight goals he had a share in the promotion to the league. There Wawrok made his debut on February 28, 1987, when he came on as a substitute for Frank Lindemann on matchday 14 in a 0-0 draw against FC Karl-Marx-Stadt in the 77th minute . For his second and last appearance, he came two game days later in the 2-0 defeat by Rot-Weiß Erfurt, also after substituting for Lindemann. After the season Wawrok moved in 1987 to the GDR league club BSG activist Black Pump . In 1989 he went to TSG Lübbenau 63 for a year and ended his career there in 1990.
