Michael Wilding (writer)
Michael Wilding (born January 5, 1942 in Worcester , England ) is an Australian writer .
Wilding studied at Oxford and was a lecturer in literature at the University of Sydney from 1969 until his retirement .
In addition to novels and short stories , Wilding also published literary studies, such as the literary criticism Political fictions (1980), and together with Rudi Krausmann published a collection of Australian short stories Air Mail from Down Under (1990) in German translation.
