Michael de Ferdinandy
Michael de Ferdinandy (born October 5, 1912 in Budapest , † October 7, 1993 in Oxford ) was a Hungarian historian .
Life
De Ferdinandy has taught in Portugal, Argentina, Costa Rica and Germany and wrote in Spanish, Hungarian and German. His research area was the history of the Spanish Habsburgs and the history of Iberian historiography.
Michael de Ferdinandy died 2 days after his 81st birthday on October 7, 1993 in Oxford, where he also found his final resting place.
