Mikhail Stepanovich Olminsky

Michail Stepanowitsch Olminski (born October 15, 1863 in Voronezh , † May 8, 1933 in Moscow ) was a Russian revolutionary, journalist, historian and literary critic.

Olminsky was 1898 founding member of the RSDLP . He joined the Bolshevik faction and became editor of the newspapers Vperjod (Forward), Pravda and Novaya Shizn .

Mikhail Olminsky died in 1933 and was buried on the Kremlin wall. The State Pedagogical M. S. Olminski Institute in Belgorod was named after him.
