Mikhail Sergejewitsch Boyarski ( Russian Михаи́л Серге́евич Боя́рский ; born December 26, 1949 in Leningrad ) is a Russian actor , singer and TV presenter . In 1990 he was awarded as a People's Artist by the RSFSR .

Life

His parents were actors, as were his uncles Alexei (1912–1966) and Nikolai Boyarsky (1922–1988) and his older brother Alexander (1938–1980). Boyarsky learned the piano in a music school, after which he studied in Leningrad at the Academy of Theater, which he graduated in 1972. Then he worked at the Lensoviet Theater. One of his first roles was the student in Dostoyevsky's "Guilt and Atonement". Boyarsky became known through a leading role as a trobadour (in Gennady Igorewitsch Gladkov's musical "Trobadour and his friends"). The role of the princess was played by Larisa Luppian, who later became Bojarski's wife. Bojarskij's debut films "Мосты" (Bridges, 1974) and "Соломенная шляпка" (Straw Hat, 1974) were in the cinema. One of Bojarski's most famous roles is d'Artagnan in "D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers". As a singer, Bojarski has over 500 songs in his repertoire.

Boyarsky lives in Saint Petersburg . He is a supporter of the monarchy.

Boyarsky is married and has two children. His daughter Yelisaveta is also an actress.
