Michal Rešetka
Michal Rešetka (born September 2, 1794 in Bobot , Slovakia; † May 9, 1854 in Horná Súča , Slovakia) was a Catholic clergyman and publisher. Its library and collection is considered one of the foundations of the Slovak National Library in Martin .
Rešetka studied theology in Pressburg and was ordained a priest in 1817. As a pastor he worked in different places. He was pastor in Horná Súča .
As panel judges of the county Trenčín he published literary contributions and sermons in various Slovak newspapers. But he also worked as an editor for various authors. Mention should be made in this context of religious and educational writings by Hugolín Gavlovič , who lived from 1712 to 1787.
