Michelangelo Zurletti

Michelangelo Zurletti (* 1937 in Saluzzo ) is an Italian music critic , conductor and music teacher.

Zurletti is one of the most important music critics in Italy. He publishes reviews in La Repubblica and various music magazines. Since 1984 he has been artistic director of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale "A. Belli" in Spoleto . Until 1994 he was artistic director of the RAI symphony orchestra in Rome and Naples.

In addition, Zurletti is a lecturer in music history and music aesthetics at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome . 1985 was published by Ricordi in Florence his work on the orchestral conducting in the 20th century La Direzione d'Orchestra - Grandi Direttori di Ieri e di Oggi .
