Michele Lanubile

Michele Lanubile (* 1959 in Bari ) is an Italian film director .

Life

Lanubile graduated with a degree in engineering and taught for a number of years; He wrote his dissertation on a topic of solid state physics at the University of Pisa . In 1991 he attended Ermanno Olmi's film school "Ipotesi Cinema" and in the following year directed Hermann Hesse's Narcissus and Goldmund at the "Teatro Kismet" in his hometown . In 1998 his film debut Io non ho la testa (based on his own script) took part in the Locarno Film Festival , but hardly ever came into regular distribution.
