Michele Saladino
Michele Saladino (born October 31, 1835 in Palermo , † August 12, 1912 in Ornavasso ) was an Italian composer and music teacher.
Saladino was a student of Pietro Raimondi . From 1870 he was a professor of harmony at the Milan Conservatory . His students include the composers Giacomo Puccini and Pietro Mascagni . He has written numerous piano reductions for contemporary operas and composed church music, vocal and instrumental works.
