Mick Knauff

Michael "Mick" Knauff (* 1966 in Brilon ) is a German journalist . As a co-founder, he was a member of the board of directors of German Investor Television AG (DAF) from Kulmbach from 2006 to 2015 . As chief correspondent, he can be seen daily live from the old trading room of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange .

Professional background

Mick Knauff started his career as a financial journalist from 2000 to 2001 when setting up the stock exchange radio of Networks BRN AG and MoneyTalk Radio of Börsenmedien AG. Then he was to build up the team and the presentation of the financial and stock market news from ONVISTA in Cologne and in 2002 held the same position at the project i-mode of E-Plus responsible. From 2003 to 2006 Knauff worked for the M! Media agency for marketing. From 2004 to 2006 he was production and editorial manager of the magazine “Der Aktionär TV” at N24.

From 2006 to 2015 Mick Knauff was together with the chairman Conrad Heberling and Bernhard Jünemann board member of the German investor television AG from Kulmbach. As a result of the insolvency of the DAF, he resigned from his position as board member. He continues to be chief correspondent at the Frankfurt am Main office. In the trading room of the Old Stock Exchange in Frankfurt, Mick Knauff is the correspondent for German investor television, N24, Wirtschaft TV, Antenne Frankfurt 95.1, Rhein-Main-TV and Rhein-Sieg-TV. In the early or late shift, he has up to 20 live performances per day.

Teaching activities

Mick Knauff taught at the Academy of the Bavarian Press, Munich and at the Academy for New Media , Kulmbach. From 2003 to 2006 he taught public relations at the HWK .

Mick Knauff made a guest appearance as a stock market journalist in the thriller series Bad Banks .
