Micky Droy (born May 7, 1951 in Highbury ) is a former English football player .
Career
Droy was a headed and uncompromising defender. The Englishman played for Chelsea during the club's troubled period. He was relegated with the Blues from the first division and later on again. From 1974 to 1984 he was under contract in London . After his appearances at Stamford Bridge , where he was player of the year in 1978, he played on short-term loan at Luton Town , and later at Crystal Palace and Brentford FC .
