Microkini

Microkini in pink

A microkini (also microkini and microbikini ) is swimwear for women. It represents an extremely tight cut form of the bikini and consists of two parts: panties and top. The trousers (in the form of a thong ) only cover the labia, the mons are only partially covered or remain completely free. In contrast to the bikini, the top usually only covers the nipples and areolas. The development of the microkinis can be seen as a provocative reaction to the US ban on nudism in the early 1970s. Many models are transparent, almost all of which leave the buttocks uncovered.

So-called pasties are a variant . They are not held together by cords, but glued on individually, which makes a total of three parts ( trikini ).
