The Ch'idriinjik River (official river name since 2015; formerly Middle Fork Chandalar River ) is a left tributary of the Teedriinjik River (formerly Chandalar River and North Fork Chandalar River ) in northwest Alaska .

The Ch'idriinjik River forms the main tributary of the Teedriinjik River. Before the rivers were renamed, it was considered the eastern headwaters of the Chandalar River , which merged with the North Fork Chandalar River .

The Ch'idriinjik River has its source in the Brook range at an altitude of around 1750  m . Its headwaters are in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge . The course of the Ch'idriinjik River lies east of that of the Teedriinjik River. The Ch'idriinjik River flows mainly in a southerly direction through the mountains. The river length is approximately 575 km.

The new river name comes from the Gwich'in language and means "heart river".
