Richard Fischer rental villa, view from Einsteinstrasse

description

The two-story rental villa is a listed building . The house, built on a sandstone base, has a well-developed attic, which is why it is also referred to as a detached apartment building . The facades are stylized in neo-baroque style , with Art Nouveau stucco ornaments on the four curved gables. On the two middle gables there are mask-like faces: on the left a bearded man and on the right a young girl.

The location on a corner plot results in three "differentiated, slightly asymmetrical views". The broken corner view is formed by a wide risalit in which there is a two- story loggia . At the top there is a roof turret , which was emphasized by a high tower lantern until 1970 . In the view of Einsteinstrasse there is a balcony , in front of the ground floor there is a terrace .

The enclosure is a lancet fence with concrete posts.

history

Partie ad King Friedrich August Park , picture postcard around 1910. On it the rented villa with the tower lantern.

In March 1903, the building contractor Richard Fischer applied for the construction of a larger house, the plans of which came from the architect Alfred Hoff. After the building permit was granted in April of that year, there was a foreclosure auction in October 1903. The construction inspection of the completed building took place in May 1904. Further changes of ownership followed in the following years: 1905, 1907, 1910 and 1914 as well as in 1923.

The tall tower lantern on the roof turret in the center was removed in 1970.
