Miguel Casado

Miguel Casado (* 1954 in Valladolid , Spain ) is a Spanish poet , literary critic , literary translator and editor . He is considered one of the most influential literary critics in post-French Spain .

Literary translations

Miguel Casado has translated works by Paul Verlaine and Francis Ponge from French into Spanish . His own poems have been translated into French, Portuguese , English , German , Galician , Arabic and Dutch .

Literary criticism

His work as a literary critic is extensive, he writes in specialist magazines as well as in the major Spanish daily newspapers such as El País , ABC and Diario 16 .
