Miguel Garcia (soccer player)
Miguel Ângelo Moita Garcia (born February 4, 1983 in Moura ), known as Miguel Garcia , is a Portuguese football player who can be used as a right or center defender. He comes from the Sporting Lisbon youth team .
In the 2004/05 season, he fell on the Portuguese Cup against Benfica Lisbon , where he missed a crucial penalty and Sporting was eliminated. A few months later (in the UEFA Cup ) he scored a goal in the semi-finals, after which Sporting reached the final. Until 2014 he played for the Spanish second division club RCD Mallorca and then moved to the Indian Super League club NorthEast United FC .
