Mihály Dömötör

Mihály Dömötör (born October 1, 1875 in Bíňovce , today Okres Trnava , Slovakia ; † February 2, 1962 in Fajsz , Hungary ) was a Hungarian lawyer and politician.

Life

He received his school education in Tyrnau and then studied at the University of Budapest . From 1903 he worked as a lawyer.

In the elections of 1905 he ran in the constituencies of Pezinok for the Catholic People's Party and published several papers on legal issues until 1910. Until 1918 he was a member of the KVP.

During the Hungarian Soviet Republic he held various ministerial offices in conservative counter-governments, for example that of the Minister of Education.

Since he did not get a mandate for the constituency of Kobrunn in the 1922 elections , he withdrew from politics and went to work as a lawyer.
