Bíňovce (German until 1927 Slovak "Bíňovce" Binowetz or Binowitz , Hungarian Binóc - until 1873 Bingóc or Béngócz is a municipality in) west of Slovakia with 677 inhabitants (December 31, 2019). It belongs to the Okres Trnava , part of the Trnavský kraj .
geography
The community is located in the Trnavská pahorkatina hills on the left bank of the Trnávka river , immediately south of the Little Carpathians . The center of the village is at an altitude of 198 m nm and 16 kilometers from Trnava .
Neighboring municipalities are Trstín in the north, Horná Krupá in the east, Dolná Krupá in the southeast, Boleráz in the south and Smolenice in the west.
history
Bíňovce was mentioned in writing for the first time in 1330 as Byn or Ben and belonged to the estate of the Ostrý Kameň castle . During the Kuruc War, the village was affected and completely destroyed. In 1720 the village had a mill and 20 taxpayers, in 1828 there were 92 houses and 661 inhabitants who were employed as farmers and carters.
Until 1918, the place in Pressburg County belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary and then came to Czechoslovakia or now Slovakia.

According to the 2011 census, 669 people lived in Bíňovce, including 630 Slovaks, two Magyars and one each Pole and Czech. One resident indicated a different ethnic group and 34 residents gave no information in this regard. 603 residents committed themselves to the Roman Catholic Church, three residents to the Evangelical Church AB and one resident to the Orthodox Church and the Czechoslovak Hussite Church; one resident professed a different denomination. 18 inhabitants were without a denomination and the denomination of 42 inhabitants was not determined.
