Ružindol (Slovak 1927-48 "Rožindol" - until 1927 "Rošindol"; German Rosenthal , Hungarian Rózsavölgy - until 1882 Rosindol , Latin Vallis Rosarum ) is a place and a municipality in the Okres Trnava of the Trnavský kraj in western Slovakia . The number of residents as of December 31, 2009 was 1468 people.
geography
The municipality is located in the Trnavská pahorkatina ("Tyrnauer hill country") and thus in the Danube hill country southeast of the Little Carpathians , eight kilometers west of the city of Trnava and fifteen kilometers east of Modra .
