Hans Moks

Hans Moks (born October 15, 1923 in Saadjärve , Tartumaa , Estonia , † October 11, 2011 in Toronto ) was a Canadian javelin thrower of Estonian origin.

Moks emigrated to Sweden in 1944 and from there to Canada in 1951. In 1958 he won bronze at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff . He was Canadian champion five times (1952, 1953, 1955, 1957, 1958). He set his personal best of 72.78 m in 1955.

Hans Moks died on October 11, 2011 in Toronto, his final resting place was in the Tallinn Rahumäe cemetery ,
