Mike Cahill (born July 5, 1979 in New Haven , Connecticut ) is an American director, screenwriter and producer.

life and career

Cahill studied economics at Georgetown University and graduated in 2001. At the local film festival, he met Brit Marling , who is also an actress and director, and developed a relationship with her. He made his first television and short films with and for the National Geographic Society .

Cahill lives in Brooklyn .
