Mike Küng

Michael "Mad Mike" Küng (* 20th November 1968 in Schruns , Vorarlberg , Austria ) is an Austrian paraglider who particularly as paragliding - test pilot and the paraglider acrobatics is known.

He is the holder of the world record in paragliding; on April 30, 2004 he jumped from a height of 10,100 m with his paraglider from a hot air balloon . In a Ferrari - Convertible he landed on April 25, 2008 after he made a 300 meters above Lake Constance flying Zeppelin NT had jumped. Küng had already jumped out of the former airship hangar of Cargolifter AG . Other spectacular activities include crossing the English Channel as well as paragliding jumps from helicopters , mountain railways and bridges . On January 21, 2020, Mike Küng jumped head over from a hot air balloon at an altitude of 7,100 meters, setting another world record.
