Mike Reiss

Mike Reiss (born September 15, 1959 in Bristol , Connecticut ) is an American screenwriter.

He worked for series such as The Simpsons , for which he was also active as a showrunner with Al Jean , and for The Critic . He was also responsible for the films Ice Age 3 - The Dinosaurs Are Going , Horton Hears a Who! Acting , My Big Fat Greek Summer and the Simpsons movie he invented the Internet series Queer Duck .

Reiss studied at Harvard and worked there for the satirical magazine Harvard Lampoon . Reiss is married and currently lives in New York City . He has Jewish ancestry but is an atheist .
