Mike Rich

Michael A. Rich (born 1959 in Enterprise , Oregon ) is an American screenwriter .

Life

Michael A. Rich graduated from Enterprise High School with a degree in Economics from Oregon State University . He then worked as a journalist for the Portland radio station KINK . In 1998 he won with his script for the later film drama Forrester - Found! the Screenwriting Competition Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences . The script was dedicated to his high school English teacher, Mr. Forster.
