Mike Scheweleit

Mike Scheweleit (born January 27, 1965 ) is a former table tennis player of the GDR. In the 1980s he was twice GDR champion of the so-called "general class" (men from the age of 18, dR)

Mike Scheweleit's father Jürgen Scheweleit was a member of the 1962 championship team at SC Lokomotive Leipzig . Mike is left handed. He played for the club BSG Außenhandel Berlin , with which he won the GDR team championship in 1981/82. In 1984 he won the GDR championship title in doubles together with Bernd Raue in Zwickau .

In 1983 he came to an international assignment at the "International Championships of Czechoslovakia".

He later played for the Marzahner Füchsen, before moving to 1.KSV 64/90 Fürstenwalde in 2007 . From 2013 he is active at BSG Pneumant Fürstenwalde in the Landesliga Ost Brandenburg. Since the 2017/2018 season he has occasionally played in the first team of Pneumant in the Landesliga Ost of the Brandenburg Table Tennis Association.
