Miki Janković (born September 26, 1994 in Belgrade ) is a Serbian tennis player .

Career

Janković was active on the ITF June Tour until 2012 and achieved promising results there. At the beginning of 2012 he achieved his best placement there with rank 26. At the Junior Grand Slam tournaments in 2011 in Roland Garros , he achieved his best result in the same tournament with the quarter-finals as a qualifier in singles and the semi-finals in doubles.

In 2011 the Serb played his first tournaments on the ITF Future Tour and was in the top 1000 of the tennis world rankings for the first time at the end of the year . In 2012 he made his only appearance on the ATP World Tour when he played in two doubles games for Serbia at the 2012 World Team Cup . Despite losing both times, Serbia won the tournament. Over the next two years, Janković continued to improve continuously. At the Challengers in Meerbusch and Meknes , he won first matches in the next higher tournament category. In 2014 and 2015 he won three Future titles and also reached his first Challenger quarter-finals in Prague . After two more quarter-finals in 2016, he reached his career best in August with rank 256. In doubles he won a total of four futures and was also the highest in 2016 with rank 432. In September 2017, Janković decided to quit his career because of persistent hip problems and pursue a career as a tennis coach.
