Miki Sugimoto
Miki Sugimoto ( Japanese 杉 本 美 樹 , Sugimoto Miki , civil: Nobuko Abe ( 安 部 信 子 , Abe Nobuko ); born January 28, 1953 in Chigasaki , Kanagawa Prefecture as Nobuko ??? ( 西海 信 子 )) is a Japanese actress who before Best known for her roles as a juvenile offender in Japanese action / erotic films. In the 1970s she shaped and dominated the genre reproductions of the Japanese film studio Tōei together with her colleagues Reiko Ike and Reiko Oshida . Furthermore, along with Meiko Kaji and Etsuko Shiomi, she is one of the most famous Japanese exploitation actresses of her time.
life and work
As a model and personality on Japanese television, Sugimoto turned to film in 1971 and made his debut alongside Reiko Ike in Norifumi Suzuki's onsen mimizu geisha . The two subsequently appeared in a series of so-called Pinky Violence films , Tōei’s own Pink-Eiga strips, in which she also had revealing scenes. For example, Sugimoto and Ike stood in front of the camera as rivals in several Sukeban films, as well as in two of four productions in the Kyofu Joshi Koko series. Her best-known role was played as the red-clad undercover police officer Rei in the erotic thriller The Tiger of Osaka (1974). After further film tasks, the actress withdrew from the film business and married a former school friend in 1978.
