Mila Haugová

Mila Haugová (born June 14, 1942 in Budapest ) is a Slovak poet and translator .

Life

In Czechoslovakia the agronomist formed it from 1986 to 1996 as an editor of the literary magazine Romboid . Mila Haugová now lives as a freelance writer in Bratislava and Levice.

The poet has so far published eighteen volumes of poetry, which have also been translated into English, French, Polish, Russian and German. Five volumes of poetry have been published in German, most recently the bilingual volume “Lullaby wild animals” (2011).

As a translator she has a. a. Works by Friederike Mayröcker translated into Slovak.
