Milad El-Khalil

Milad El-Khalil (born May 24, 1949 in Beirut ; † August 20, 2017 in Halle (Saale) ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 2002 to 2006 he was a member of the Saxony-Anhalt state parliament .

Education and life

Milad El-Khalil attended school from 1956 to 1968 and trained as a programmer after graduating from high school from 1969 to 1970. In 1971 he entered the Federal Republic of Germany. From 1971 to 1972 he worked in various jobs and learned the German language. From 1973 to 1978 he worked as a programmer and from 1979 to 1992 self-employed with a software company. From 1993 to 2003 he worked as a hotelier.

Milad El-Khalil was married and has three children.

politics

Milad El-Khalil had been a member of the CDU since 1998 and MIT since 1997 . In 1999 he was elected to the city council in Halle. He was directly elected to the state parliament in the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 2002 in the state constituency of Halle II (WK 40). As secretary in the state parliament, he was a member of the presidium and a member of the committees for culture and media as well as for equality, family, children, youth and sport. In the state elections in Saxony-Anhalt in 2006 , he ran in the state constituency of Halle I , but was not elected.
