Mildgitha Bachleitner
Sister Maria Mildgitha Bachleitner (born October 23, 1895 in Altfraunhofen ; † March 9, 1985 : born Barbara Bachleitner ) was a German religious. Since 1956 she was Superior General of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent von Paul in Munich .
Life
Barbara Bachleitner entered the Order of the Sisters of Mercy of St. Vincent von Paul, where she took the religious name Mildgitha. She made her profession in 1917. She worked in the writing room of the Munich motherhouse of the congregation after she had previously worked in Munich in the ld Isar hospital. Then she worked in the writing room of the Aschaffenburg City Hospital until she became matron in the orthopedic clinic in Munich in 1948.
In 1956 she was elected Superior General of the Order as the successor to Castella Blöckl .
