Mildred Iatrou Morgan

Mildred Iatrou Morgan (born before 1987 in Astoria , New York ) is an American sound engineer .

Life

Morgan was born and raised in Astorias. She began her career in 1987 as assistant to the sound designer on Francis Ford Coppola's drama The Stone Garden . Between 2002 and 2015 she was nominated seven times for the Golden Reel Award , but could not win the award. In 2016 she was nominated for La La Land for the Satellite Award in the category Best Sound Editing . Also for this film, she was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Sound Editing and for the BAFTA Film Award in the category Best Sound in 2017 .
