Milena Baisch (* 1976 in Bochum ) is a German-speaking author of books for children and young people, radio plays, scripts and plays.

life and work

Milena Baisch grew up in Wuppertal . Her mother is the children's author Chris Baisch . She published her first book at the age of 19.

She studied screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) in Berlin. From 2006 to 2007 she graduated from the Academy for Children's Media .

Anton dives (2010) and Anton makes it clear (2012) gained attention in the German-language feature pages . In 2011 Anton dives off won the German Youth Literature Prize in the children's book category and the German Children's Radio Play Prize in the radio play version .

Her first play for children, The Princess and the Pjär , was created in 2013 and was awarded the Mülheim Children's Play Prize.

Her books have been translated into many languages. Milena Baisch lives in Berlin .
