Antje Szillat

Antje Szillat (* 1966 in Hanover ) is a German writer . She lives with her husband and four children near Hanover.

Life

Antje Szillat is a trained learning therapist and learning advisor. She works as a freelance editor for various print and online magazines (including KidsLife , Federwelt and Urbia ) and as a freelance author of books for children and young people as well as non-fiction.

In cooperation with the Reading Foundation , she runs reading clubs for children and young people. She developed a course “Games for the head and heart” with games and exercises to encourage children and created the children's book character Justine , who is committed to children's rights .

Antje Szillat is a member of the Friedrich-Bödecker-Kreis (Lower Saxony) and of the syndicate .
