Paul Grischok (born February 26, 1986 in Kędzierzyn-Koźle , in Poland also Paweł Grischok ) is a former German - Polish football player . He has both Polish and German citizenship . He preferred to play as a left midfielder , but could also be used offensively or on the right.
Club career
Grischok began his career at the lower class SV Wermelskirchen in Germany before he was discovered by Bayer 04 Leverkusen and signed in January 2007. There, however, he only played for the second team and did not make the leap into the professional squad. At the end of August 2009 he therefore moved to Servette FC Genève in the Swiss Challenge League . At the second division he signed a two-year contract with the option for another year. He was due to a lateral ligament tear in the knee just eleven times used. In the summer of 2010 he decided to move to the first division club Widzew Łódź in his native Poland . There, too, his bad luck remained loyal to him and he fell out twice for very long periods due to a torn inner ligament in his knee and an outer ligament tear in his ankle . A year later he moved to the second division and promoted Olimpia Grudziądz . There he was able to assert himself as a regular player during the season and helped the club to keep the class. At the end of November 2012, however, his contract there was terminated by mutual agreement. After almost four months without a club, Grischok signed a contract until the end of the 2012/13 season with the relegation-threatened Bulgarian first division club FK Etar 1924 Veliko Tarnowo . There he only came to two missions before the club stopped playing in May 2013.
Then Grischok returned to Germany. In the 2013/14 season, Grischok was initially under contract with the third division side Stuttgarter Kickers . However, after Horst Steffen took over as coach, Grischok found himself only in the reserve of the Kickers. At the beginning of February 2014, the contract was therefore terminated and Grischok joined the Berlin top division club BFC Dynamo . With the club he made it to the regional league in the summer of 2014 . Nevertheless, he left the club and switched to city rivals and league rivals Berliner AK 07 . After a season as a regular player, he dared to move to Poland again. In July 2015 he signed a contract with the second division club Chojniczanka Chojnice . Here he had eleven assignments by October 2015. After a red card on matchday 12, he was no longer taken into account by the coach. The contract was then terminated at the beginning of December 2015. In spring 2016 he joined the third division team Pelikan Łowicz .
