Milestone ( Japanese 株式会社 マ イ ル ス ト ー ン , kabushiki kaisha mairusutōn , English Milestone Inc. ) is a Japanese manufacturer of video games that specializes in the development of arcade games. Milestone was founded in 2003 by former Compile employees in Suginami , Tokyo . Milestone has also had a subsidiary in Vietnam since 2007.
Milestone achieved higher levels of awareness, among other things, through the games Radilgy and Karous , which appeared as some of the last official games for the video game console Dreamcast and especially recently through successful shoot'em up titles for the Nintendo Wii .
